Ellen Burstyn, Hilary Duff Team Up for Greta
No, it isn't a Lifetime production.

Discuss Article
Her days as a Disney tween princess firmly behind her, Hilary Duff is looking to branch out into dramatic roles -- and in her next film, she'll get some assistance from Ellen Burstyn.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Duff and Burstyn will star with Evan Ross (son of Miss Ross) and Michael Murphy in Greta. From the article:

Duff will play the title role of a waitress who falls for an ambitious cook (Ross) at the restaurant where they work. But as their summer romance heats up, she has to overcome the concerns of her grandparents (Burstyn, Murphy) about her boyfriend's criminal past. The comic drama is now shooting in New Jersey.

Greta was written by Michael Gilvary and is being directed by Nancy Bardawil. If neither of those names are familiar, don't fret; Greta marks the feature debut for both. Bardawil has helmed a number of music videos for artists such as Goo Goo Dolls and Five for Fighting, while Gilvary is listed as the screenwriter for Devil to Pay, a Lucy Liu thriller scheduled for release next year.

I can picture the red carpet kiss-*** now: Burstyn gets to gush about the amazing talent of Duff. And Duff gets to pretend she knew who Burstyn was before shooting started.

the difference is that instead of working with goofball chad michael murray, she's working with geizer michael murphy. however, this is irrelevant since Duff contaminates any project she touches. at least lohan's cute and knows how to get down, hillary's a friggin slag troll.

This Movie is being created in Ocean Grove, NJ.
Its actualy being filmed a few blocks from my friends house.
AND Its being Filmed right across the street from the hotel that my friend and her mom owns!

Theres security all over. We see hilary all the time. My friend actualy talked to hilary duff. I wasnt there at the time.

ANDDD The the house that she lives in is amazing. Very hollywood and Easter colored.
Its purple. Ocean Grove is very historic so all the houses are historic beach houses.
So if you can picture a historic wooden beach house thats purple, then u know what the house in the movie looks like.

Ok, thats all.
