The space family Robinson has been tooling the outer limits for some time now, having lost their way while seeking a friendly environment for Earthlings to inhabit. Their mission was knocked off course by an unfortunate stowaway, Dr. Smith, who seeks to sabotage the family at every turn. They must keep his destructive tendencies at bay, while facing a steady stream of alien life, both friendly and otherwise. Incredibly popular in the 1960s, LOST IN SPACE was cancelled after its third season because 20th Century Fox had taken some financial blows and was forced to make cutbacks. The show itself remains a staple of American popular culture, and continues to delight with its campy appeal. [More]
