Growing up in an oppressive Southern Baptist household in the 1950s, Storyteller (Jordan) flees as soon as he is able to the nearby metropolis of Atlanta. There, he finds a new set of troubles, falling in with a drug addled party girl and a hustler who he immediately falls in love with. LOST IN THE PERSHING POINT HOTEL chronicles the experiences of Storyteller against the gay and drug subcultures of the 1970s. The film was the winner of the Grand Jury and Audience Awards at the Los Angeles division of the 2000 New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. [More]
