RT still has Keira Knightly on the cast list, any confirmation of that? I have heard nothing to back it up and seeing that they also have Sam Neil on the cast list it's probably not true.

It could be interesting still if they made the dinos act more natural like in JP instead of in JP3 when all they did was run and bite. And talking about how they act is cool like in JP when Dr. Grant scared that kid by telling him how raptors hunt.

They should have ended it after the first one.....unless a REALLY good story came around. At this point it's nothing more than a monster movie with mindless Dinos eating people. Has anyone ever thought that, just MAYBe a T-Rex would not be interested in a human when he has much larger and more satisfying prey on the menu. JP3 was just completely unrealistic.....a Dinosaur would not interupt it's meal simply to "chase humans"...especially when it had a much larger and more satisfying meal in front of it. I would like to see one of these movies with more realsim and amped up gore......I think the only Dino (in JP atleast) that would be interested in a human as prey would be the Raptors.

This movie series has ran its course. Frankly they should have stopped after the second one. There is really no creative reason for this franchise to continue. How can you make it fresh after three movies anyways? There's really nowhere left to go and nothing to do. If a fourth movie is made it will just end up some cash-in sequel with big dinosaurs eating cardboard characters left and right.

7 years ago I would've said "OH MY GOD I CAN'T WAIT".

But it has been a long time since the 3rd film, and after seeing it numerous times you can tell how much it SUCKED compared to the first.

(Imo JP2 was absolute garbage)

JP > JP3 > JP2 >JP4

Dinosaurs that left prior to the iceage on their spaceships return to find remnants of their prior civilization, captured and secluded on a solitary island and commence obliteration of the human species....only to be run-afoul by a random sneeze and the germs it contains.

i think somehow they will have dinosaurs come into the U.S. or some other random country............that is the only thing fresh i can think of, and they already kind of touched on that in jurassic park 2 with the T-rex running around..........

but maybe it would be different if it was alot of dinos running around the neighborhood........

The only remotely interesting plot line i have heard about is that on the Islands a prehistoric virus has broke out amongst the dinos ( Why i am not sure and it didnt say) But this new and prehistoric virus is deadly to humans . Some other large corporation is attempting to take dinos off the Island and once again bring them to main land USA which essentially would mean the extinction of mankind ...

So thats all that was there , so i am sure that at some point someone from one of the first 3 ( Ellie ) will be involved in trying to stop and cre this virus from killing everyone , I am sure it will take place on the Islands and many dinos wll be sick and more than likly a Raptor or T-rex will hold the antibodies to cure the disease so they have to capture this dino ( Thos are just my thoughts on what could happen)

If it is done properly like JP and JP2 i think it could be alright , aything like JP3 and i am running the other way ...

curious... bsideleau how the hell would you know how dinosaurs would react? were you living back over 6 million years ago? Do you remember how dinosaurs eat and hunt by remembering this crap from reincarnation from a cave person? don't you think that maybe the raptors prefer FRESH meat? For example if a lion is hungry, and has already a slab of steak don't you think it would prefer to eat you instead? I think that's common sense. Plus i don't understand why each and every single one of you say that all the movies suck, do you really think the producers really care what you think? They're going to make this movie no matter what, and they are still going to make money off of it. By the way the 2nd movie was much worse than the 3rd. I don't really understand how you can say that the 3rd was so terrible. And hey if you didn't like the 2nd movie why do you keep continuing to watch the rest. Here's some advice, stop bitching about how terrible the 4th and 3rd ones supposedly are and give them a chance when there are more people out there who actually like ALL the movies.

Personally, I thought JP 3 was the best. I didn't like the cartoon dna explanation in Part 1. Part 2 was okay, but one dinosaur in the city and back in the boat didn't work for me. I'm hoping Part 4 brings all the characters together again.

If the plot for part 4 includes dinosaurs in the USA, I rather they be homegrown - stolen from eggs or in early dna process. Transporting dinosaurs to the USA is a stupid and exaggerated idea. We'll have to wait and see...

Okay, this is gonna be a long post, but hold on for me:

1) The whole dinosaurs with guns theory is BS. It was a publicity stunt: when something totally different comes out, everyone will be relieved.
2) Even if the rumors were true, Spielberg nixed the first scripts and set out with several new, unnamed screenwriters(though Michael Chrichton is rumored to be one) to make a fresh script.
3) JP3 wasn't that bad. I totally agree that when put next to the first two films, it was awful. But it had a new director who had no experience with JP movies, came out six years after the last movie, and wasn't based on any of the books. It was improbable, sure, but why did Jaws follow three guys with a handful of steaks for hours on end instead of going to the veritable feast of the beach?
4) I trust Steven. He can come up with genius ideas, and with the hiatus from JP since the end of #3, he's probably fresh and raring to go. If Chrichton really is one of the scriptwriters, I have even more confidence that JP4 will be good.
5)Even if it is bad, are you still going to go see it, on even the slightest chance it may be good? The movie's gonna make a boatload, and with four movies in the bucket, I think Steve and Universal are gonna realize JP's ship has sailed.

So in conclusion: LOOSEN UP, YA TIGHT-ASSES!

Well how do u no that they would not chase humans hu i mean think of it this way a larger meal would mean using up more energy so it may chase humans.Also it may have chased them away from its food because its teretorial , or thinks they might take his food away ull never know.

I think that itl be a great!!! movie hopefully at least a half an houre longer than the first and nowhere near as short as the third. iv heard rumors that a diseas has struck the island and carcasses are washing up on shore of the mainland and some carcasses arnt carcases and the humans must blow up the island befor a MAJOR catastrophy happens.

(now heres where the government not Knowing the people are there is important) you see because of this delema the government is going to blow up Los sinco Meurtase aka the 5 deaths aka the 5 islands were the dinos are located. and one man (and Ellie) must bring some stoeaway kids off the island before it goes CABOOM!!!!!!!! and eaither plot iv mention the dinos WILL get to the mainland.
