Sweet tale of a lost bird with injured wings learning to fly again, and bringing a similar coupla humans (zookeeper and foreman) along on the ride. Nice cinematography and ornithography :)
A cute romantic comedy where the scenery is far more breathtaking than the chemistry. But it is a sweet movie that has a nice "real" feel to the characters and their dialogue. Never too serious, or too uncomfortable... with a clear cut Act 1, 2, and 3 (ie. common plot elements). But the comedic elements kept us smiling, and the overall "goodness" of our main couple is felt and appreciated. A sweet, easy-to-watch movie.
Rhys could be funny reading a sonnet in Urdu, but this film let him down. It wasn't bad, it just could have been a little better had his part been funnier. No matter, Pierre was the star of this show anyway. Good thing too since the female lead was quite the hag and deserved to stay alone.
