What you, Roeper, Gleiberman, AO Scott, and other mediocre critics miss is the genius in the absurd (Vince Canby would have understood the film for what it is). Love Guru is brilliant absurdist humor ala Kentucky Fried Movie, e.g., *Sir* Ben Kingsley's crossed eyes throughout, elephants having sex on ice (as a means of distraction), Meyers and partner performing Extreme's "More than Words" on sitar. This film celebrates the absurd while at the same time satirizes filmic cliche--as just as one example, the *deliberate* rushed through come-from-behind Maple Leafs victory. Since when has genital and scat riffing been off the table? Ya blow-hards...
