Nothing in his life is going right and he's descended into a solitary life of moping and alcohol. Millard's life takes a turnaround when a dog named Lucky comes into his life, and Lucky is lucky for Millard because not only can Lucky talk, but Lucky helps Millard to get back on his feet.
