Horrible. No story, overt homoeroticism, and the death-knell for McConaughey. Is this the same director who did the fabulous HAYWIRE?
Leo Cotnoir Jr.
Is this the crotchety old reviewer that frequently enjoys trash & intentionally gives negative reviews to what most others like? Yes, yes it is!

Interesting that she listed "overt homoeroticism" as if it were a bad thing. As a woman who enjoys dude-on-dude action profoundly, I gotta disagree. NGL, most of my friends would see it for that element alone.

What's wrong with "overt homoeroticism," Victoria?
Jun 29 - 08:45 AM
If you thought HAYWIRE was good, then you need your reviewer card revoked.
Jun 29 - 10:14 AM
HAYWIRE and fabulous in the same sentence? wooowwwwww

A little homophobic are we?
Stupid cow, who do you think the majority of viewers, renters and buyers of this film will be?
Gay men you moron.
Jun 29 - 11:01 AM
Overt homoeroticism? I guess Victoria was expecting little hairy fat men dancing with plungers?
Jun 29 - 11:29 AM
We know your review isn't worth much when you call "Haywire" a fabulous movie. It was mediocre in every aspect from directing, to script, to the acting.

This is the same critic who like "Haywire"? That film was awful. Time to retire, maybe?

It's sad that Rotten Tomatoes would allow someone to make such bigoted comments on their site. Perhaps if she made some negative comments about someone's race then the editors would take notice.

I'm not going for a STORY lady.
Jun 29 - 05:54 PM
not that i am for this as a 'good film', overt homoeroticism? that a homophobic comment if I ever read one. At least be subtle about your bigotry online.

There truly is something wrong with you lady. If you are a red-blooded female or a gay male, if you didn't enjoy seeing Channing Tatum dancing to "My Pony" than you have a screw missing. As a Channing obsessed female I have to say this is my favorite besides "21 Jump Street". Haywire is my least favorite of his efforts. Including "GI Joe" which I watched just to see him. Loosen up, this was a rollicking great time at the movies.

Oh, and by the way, "the death knell for Matthew McConaughey"? Check the box office for this woman...BURN!
Jul 4 - 08:55 AM
Though I usually prefer to ignore the reviews rating a movie bad, since even though I liked this movie (and I'm a guy btw) I can understand why people didn't, but...
How is overt homo-eroticism a bad thing? I mean, I guess I can understand getting just a little uncomfortable, but actually listing that as a negative thing in your review is as bigotry as it gets.
