This Argentine film freshens up an old cinematic device: juxtaposing science fiction and religion. It shows huge promise -- its mystery, its patient pace and its eerie resonance sometimes transcend its didactics.

April 28, 2007Go rent this film right now! A man shows up at an insane asylum and claims he is from another planet. He is a genius and begins to show the hospital staff the blind spots with respect to their humanity. The orchestra scene is perhaps my favorite of any film!
