Movie Info

In a complex intrigue plot, Tracy and Gallian work together and fall in love with each other while trying to investigate a plot to blow up the Panama Canal. Counterespionage involvement is vastly complicated by the fact that there are Japanese, English and United States undercover agents who keep tripping over each other as no one knows what anyone else is doing. Good performances keep this spy thriller a cut above.

Audience Reviews for Marie Galante

Average drama with a leading lady who doesn't register well on screen but then Helen Morgan saunters into the scene and starts to sing and POW! the movie is alive. Unfortunately that only happens a few times throughout the picture. Tracy is compelling as always but this is a meager film.
