I mean, she's WRONG obviously, (this movie looks like it's going to be one of the most fun, if not the best, of the year) but she raised some valid points and at the end of the day it's her opinion and we must respect that.

This woman obviously was not impressed with the hype for this movie, and walked straight into the movie theatre with no intention of giving a good review. The Transformers quote was not funny or clever. The 'Metal Men' that were compared to 'Transformers' are from the original comics, everything in this movie is based off the comics, they didn't just decide "metal monsters" were cool.
Secondly, it's almost insulting to say a movie like this needs to be "more ambitious", i'm not even going to explain how wrong that is.

This is the shittiest movie review I've read in a long time. Having seen The Avengers already and knowing full well what a ridiculously delicious movie it is, I have to say Amy simply has poor taste and very poor review skills. Note to her employer: fire Amy, hire me.

Opinions are subjective, and should only be used as guidance. That being said, someone who has passed the fairly rigorous standards of having their reviews posted here (it takes time and effort), you would think said person would pay attention to the details in the film. Getting names wrong is a huge no-no in journalism. It makes you look like an amateur and that you don't care about the details.

Changing a rating after the fact when you realize that your rating will now be considered "fresh" instead of "rotten" is ridiculous as well.

I don't fault people for having an opinion or even voicing it. I do have a problem with people who are nothing but attention whores.

To all those complaining that a 3/5 shouldn't be rotten:

It's up to the reviewer whether the review is labeled rotten or not. Furthermore, from my experience with this site, I've seen 3/5 or 2.5/4 reviews get labeled rotten about half of the time.
