My favorite Avenger has to be Thor. He opened up a whole new side of the Marvel Universe in the movies (Asgard/scify and fantasy) and he's one of my favorites in the comics.

Best Overall:Captain America. he gets ragged on all the time but he was the first (In the movie Universe anyway) and it was really great to see him organizing them team by the end of the movie.
