What I'm looking forward to on this list:
Brave - The ONLY Pixar film that has had me interested & excited to watch since...NEVER!
Snow White & the Huntsman - Definitely looks great! It looks dark, sick, & even kick-ass. It'll be great to see Stewart kick some ass. And hopefully it'll be better than that over-the-top goofy-looking, & head-ache inducing Mirror Mirror.
Breaking Dawn Part 2 - Looking forward to seeing how hot Stewart looks as a vampire after that beautiful transformation in the previous one.
The Dark Knight Rises - I just hope this time it focuses on actually being fun, adventurous, & BATMAN, not some political bullshit. The title still sucks.
The Amazing Spiderman - IDK why people are calling this a sequel or a remake, it's not. This is based on ANOTHER Spiderman comic.
Men In Black 3 - Loved the first two, can't wait for this one.
Others I'm looking forward to that AREN'T on this list, but SHOULD have been:
Dark Shadows - Hopfully this one will be Tim Burton's greatest work since Charlie & the Chocolate factory & Sweeney Todd.
Frankenweenie - Same as above.
ParaNorman - Why the Expendable is more anticipated, & this one wasn't even considered is beyond me.
Wrath of the Titans - Loved the remake despite not being anywhere near as great as the first one (despite the effects & acting), & hopefully this one will be better.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance - I'm just glad that they removed that whore-bag Eva Mendez. She made the first one unwatchable, not that the first one was any good to begin with.
The Secret World or Arrietty - FINALLY another 2D movie! I'm tired of all this CGI & Pixar shit!
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - Looks amazing just by that poster.

umm, Sam Raimi's movies were based on Amazing spider-man also, just a different take on it. In raimi's, Mary Jane is thrown off the Brooklyn bridge by the goblin and Spidey saves her, in the comic, Gwen is thrown off and *spoiler alert* gets her neck snapped by peter's web during the fall. Sam kinda dropped the ball when he put Gwen in the 3rd movie. I hope this new version captures the character well. The trailer's worry me. Peter isn't really supposed to be the good lookin, somber, skater kid. He's a smart ass and a genius.

I don't know if I'd call "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" Tim Burton's best. I wouldn't even call it one of his good ones. Actually, I'd call it his worst. ACTUALLY, it's my least favorite film of all time.
Good call on "Sweeney Todd" though, that movie is awesome.

LMAO his Worst?! Man I love meth heads! They say such stupid shit. Next you're gonna say Transformers 2 was good.

I don't like Charlie much either, but I'd say Burton's Apes and Alice are worse.

No, Transformers 2 was terrible. Tim Burton didn't understand how Willy Wonka worked as a character, and Johnny Depp's performance was embarrassing. Planet of the Apes was just generic, not really awful.

@Brad H. Alice in Wonderland wasn't THAT bad, despite how unnerving Alice was, but I'd say Batman Forever is his worst (I know he on;y produced it, but, it's the only films I can think of that had SOME of his involvement that actually sucked).

I like offbeat, but not for the sake of being offbeat. Charlie and Alice just pushed me over the quirkiness edge, into irritating as hell territory. Apes careless, nonsensical ending did that one in for me (along with Wahlberg's wooden performance) . The worst Shyamalan twist is better than what Burton gave us.

How did he not understand Wonka's character? Because it wasn't Gene Wilder who played him? Burton's Wonka is infinite times better, because his portrayal of the character is far more realistic than that Wilder one who is unrealistically kind to those rotten kids (who aren't even rotten to begin with) Hell we even get a backstory to Depp's Wonka on why the character loves candy so much & why he was so rude to the rotten kids. And to end that, Dep's Wonka was far closer to the book Wonka, for in the book he was described as almost insane; while Wilder's portrayal, while still great, only got boring, & soon started looking like a child molester (he sure was interested in those kids).

Child molester? Wow, that thought never crossed my mind with either version. Curious though that you'd attach that idea to Wilder's Wonka, as opposed to Depp's Wonka, who seemed to be channeling Michael Jackson, an accused molester. (I said accused, I'm not offering my thoughts on guilt or innocence). I think more than anything, I hated Burton's Oompa Loompas.

He may have been acting like Michael Jackson, but at least his performance was rude & arrogant to the kids, so, IDK how people can refer to him as a molester, whilst's Wilder's WOnka was way too interested in the kids.

Sigh....it sure is a sad state we're living in when the sight of a man hugging a boy out of joy becomes interperated as child molesting.

"fun, adventurous, & BATMAN". Someone hasn't read anything about Batman since the 70's. Batman isn't campy now and hasn't been since the Dark Knight Returns.

Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns? Bruce getting older had it's campy moments i guess, but it was dark and gritty for the most part.

I meant that that was the main turning point of him becoming a serious character. Sorry for my bad phrasing.

Batman hasn't been campy since 1989 when Tim Burton brought him to the screen. Unfortunately Schumacher didn't get the notice.

Tim Burton's Batman is the darkest and best Batman made to this point, any real Batman fan will agree.

I agree, completely. Nolan's Batman was dark on the point where I could barely see anything.

"I just hope this time it focuses on actually being fun, adventurous, & BATMAN" Funny, none of those things would apply to Burton's Batman Returns either, which was arguably more depressing than either of Nolan's films. Heck, none of Nolan's films recieved the parent backlash Returns recieved, where so many parents were complaining that the film was giving their kids nightmares.
Dec 31 - 10:34 AM
Frisby 2007
Well parents & their kids can suck it. no one ever said that Returns was a kid-friendly movie. At least Burton's Batman movies don't have any of that 'realistic & down to Earth' bullshit that only ruins things, & at least his Batman movies are actually Batman (maybe not comic book-wise, but in portrayal). And let's not get me started on Nolan's shitty Batman score.
Dec 31 - 06:29 PM
Brad Hadfield
Right, who wants realistic and down-to-earth when you can have real ridiculous and downright lame?
Jan 1 - 01:39 PM
Frisby 2007
Sure glad I didn't see any of that.

Chubby Movie Goer
You are correct about Returns. And it is actually because of Returns and the complaints from parents that we go the campy Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. It wasn't Shumacher's fault, but WB and the complaining parents.

You call Pixar films shit and you anticipate breaking dawn 2 ????, and what about Nolan's Batman shitty score????, you probably think you have the greatest taste on films, don't act like a jackass, most of your opinions can be proved to be wrong by casual and hardcore moviegoers

By definition, opinions cannot be proven wrong.

No I don't think I have great taste in films, go put your tampon on pal. And you're throwing a tantrum over Nolan's shitty Batman score (which it is) as if I talked about the movies.
Jan 3 - 03:10 PM

The Dark Knight was the first f-ckin superhero movie to make a billion dollars beating all of Tim Burton's Batman movies put together and at the same time making most of it's revenue here in North America and Nolan's score is the main problem! God what is this world coming to!
Jan 4 - 05:27 PM
Frisby 2007
And the money it made in the box-office automatically makes it better? The shitty score is only one of the film's problems.
