Initial tweets (reviews are embargoed for the moment) from last night's world premiere in LA are almost universally positive. The most surprising element (to me and to some of those tweeting) is the favorable response to the Hulk's contribution.

I'm not all that suprised, reason being, The Hulk as a character is better as a supporting character rather than a center piece. The Hulk has had a couple of stories that were good with him as the star, but primarily he's great as part of an ensemble piece with other characters to cover his obvious weaknesses. I think that's why Marvel has been going more with The Hulk Family and War Bound type story lines for a while now.

Also, I have to say, I've never been a big Mark Ruffalo fan (He's a mumbler, he mumbles) just from the previews alone I got more of a Bruce Banner, raging kettle of geeky rage feel from him than I ever did Eric Bana or even Edward Norton.

"Cars magically transform into burning cars. That part Iā??m happy about."

I'm no Whedon fanboy, but the guy genuinely seems to love what he does and has fun doing it. I respect that much, at least.
