Avengers was a good flick, but it won't make me loathe Buffy any less. He should take note of John Favreau (sp?), who's first Iron Man was great but the second was nothing special, and Cowboys and Aliens I have not seen but heard sucked. Take your time with Avengers 2, I'd rather wait for a good flick than see another fast-food superhero movie.

I'd like to give a big thanks to Joss Whedon for delivering such a great movie. It's pretty obvious that he completely understands each character and brought them right off the comic page to the silver screen. I hope other would-be and future comic book/movie adaptation directors are taking lots of notes.

The Avengers was an incredible movie! When I came away from it I knew I was satisifed, but I wasn't sure *how* satisfied I was. However, after just two days I replayed this movie in my head, and I realized how truly MASTERFUL this movie is. It is truly unbelievable how well all the characters are crafted and balanced together, and I mean ALL of them. It doesn't feel rushed or too long, and the script was incredible. It blew past my expectations and I'm definitely seeing it again later this week!

As a long time Whedon fan, I feel vindicated this past weekend. I'm soooo glad he's finally broken through into the "main stream" and now has the recognition he has so long deserved. Can't wait to see Cabin and Avengers.
