what i find about the Max Payne Stories from someone who has played the video games and appreciated not just the great action sequences but the in depth story from the emotion story of how his wife and daughter are killed by junkies, which starts him on his journey in the video game. Although it has been a while since i played the video game didn't Mona Sax Drug Him and leave him for the mafia to kill???

but anyways the story of Max Payne is one that i think really fits the big screen it has the dark aspect of a good action movie, it has a thriller aspect in it as well.

How it will do in the box office will base on how meny people know the story of Max Payne because i belive if you go in there without knowing anything about his story. You won't like it nearly as much as you would if you played and liked the video games.
