In this violent crime drama, director Umberto Lenzi paints a riveting picture of Milan in the 1970s. A produce purveyor, Toto Cangemi (Anatonio Sabato), is actually a successful pimp. But the appearance of a drug kingpin known as Le Capitaine (Philippe Leroy) threatens his livelihood; the Frenchman wants to team up, a plan Toto wants no part of, even if it means war. The attempts of an American gangster to mediate only complicate matters further.

There no doubt Umberto Lenzi's contribution the the Italian crime film genre includes some of the best films. Almost Human and Then Cynic The Rat And The Fist would be included in my top ten list of Euro Crime Films. Milano Rovente is right there too. Its fast paced and has a great story.
