Milton Berle, also known as "Uncle Miltie," became one of America's first television stars with his own blend of irreverent Vaudeville-influence comic stylings. When his Texaco Star Theatre program premiered on NBC in 1948, less than half a million Americans owned televisions. By 1950, Berle had over two million viewers. The show featured appearances from stars such as Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley and Sammy Davis, Jr. This special tribute, assembled at the Museum of Television & Radio in Los Angeles, features guest such as Steve Allen, Buddy Hackett, Art Linkletter, and more.
