It was nice to see this video released. If you have never seen the Monkees perform live, then this as close as you will ever get again, with the passing of Davy in February of 2012. Of course this DVD is far from perfect. While it contains lots of great songs and is a clear professionally filmed Concert, it also is highly edited. A lot of the between song chat is cut to a minimal which is a shame because that is one of the things that made these concerts so extraordinary. Hopefully one day there will be a full unedited release of some of these concerts but until that time this DVD is a must for any Monkees fan.
