Movie Info

A cost-conscious American nearly starts a riot in a French village when he brings in four female chimpanzees to harvest the olives from the decrepit orchard he inherited from a late uncle in this riotous Disney comedy. At first, Yankee Henry Dussard was planning to hire local villagers to harvest his crop, but then the old town priest warns him that that will be terribly expensive. When the locals discover that he has hired primates to do their work, they immediately go own strike. Still, things go pretty well until the females begin going ape over a recently arrived male chimp. Good, clean family fun ensues.more
