The usual complaints and caveats about Anderson - he's precious, his characters have no grounding in the real world - can be made about Moonrise Kingdom, but so what?
No grounding in the real world? Really? I beg to differ. They're enacting their pubescent fantasy in reaction to all-too-realistic grounding in the heartbreak of the real world, where parents are remote or non-existent. What's precious about Sam warning Suzy that he may wet the bed in his sleep?
