Morrissey 25: Live Reviews
November 6, 2013
I liked it- I don't think it's the best concert of his I've ever seen, but his heart was in it and he knew that this would be a legacy type of concert, so if you're a Smith's/Moz fan, very likely something you will want to own. Highlight's included Speedway, Please, Please, Please, Maladjusted, Meat is Murder, The Boy with the thorn in his side- all done as well as Moz can deliver them. The downside to me were the incessant fawning fans acting like he'd descended from Heaven. Julia actually thanked him for, "living." A little over the top, but that's Moz fans for you. That said, seeing this concert in Blu-Ray and with hi-def audio can give you a sense of what it might have been like to have had a front row seat at the show, and for the price they are asking, it's truly a steal.
