Movie Info

When Francesca (Ornella Muti) rejects the advances of a local mafioso, she's consequently abducted and raped. Alienated by her family and friends, Francesca challenges tradition and insists her attacker be brought to justice. Based on a true story that would prove to change the course of the Italian justice system in the 1960s, this unnerving drama is directed by Damiano Damiani and features a lush score by the legendary Ennio Morricone.
