I know. It's stupid how many people actually think Hugh Jackman's balls hanging off his chin is funny. Really? What the fuck is wrong with people?

I saw this movie. I didn't like it. I didn't hate it. If I was 14 I would've been on the floor. There's an audience for this type of movie, and like it or not, it's a form of a art. Which is pretty awesome. I'm glad these quality actors aren't so career-obsessed that they refuse to be in a trashy/silly film that's out of their norm.

Guys, did anyone see this movie in Europe? is the script different than in the US or what?
All the reviews and summaries I have read so far talk about the shorts being linked by a pitch for a movie made by Dennis Quaid.
I saw it in Ireland yesterday and that's not the thread I saw.
Mine was about a bunch of teenagers who are pranking their little brother, who is a computer genius, to find the mythical movie 43 online (a movie which is not supposed to exist). And as he browses the net to find that movie, he falls on all the other short movies.
then there is a whole 'Terminator' kind of thing going on, because they find movie 43, which triggers some kind of nuclear war which destroys the world and they have sent the movie from the future to prevent it from happening.
it is all absolutely shit, there's no difference here, but I am quite curious as to why there seems to be different main threads??

I feel so sorry for Emma Stone right now. I pray she still has a career after this turkey.
Jan 26 - 10:38 AM
Emma Stone is the only reason I need in order to watch this movie. I'd rather say, "That was a bad movie," than, "I'm not going to watch it because it's supposed to be bad." Emma Stone is awesome.

i still dont care who bashses this film and for what reasons, i will still see it and i know for a fact i will get more laughs than i did watching a haunted house
Jan 25 - 04:20 PM
To be fair Hollis if your only praise of the film is that it's funnier then Haunted House it's not saying much.
Jan 25 - 10:40 PM
Saw it last night. It's funny. A compilation of shorts (each one irrelevant to the next) strung together as part of a bad movie pitch by Dennis Quaid to Greg Kinnear. It was truly and surprisingly funny. Raunchy at times, but funny.

Given that the trailer showed humor about race, politics, and Hollywood, I find Chase's obsession with bodily functions to be somewhat disturbing. And contrived.
Jan 24 - 07:17 AM
Read my post below very carefully if you'd like an explanation. If you would rather not, then keep your comments to yourself.
Jan 24 - 07:22 AM
I read your post below. You still decided to make assumptions based on possibilities while turning the movie into one hyperbole of scat and pornography. I mean, anyone can rant about something they can't possibly know.
Jan 24 - 09:12 AM
Of course, the entire film won't be focused primarily on jokes about sex organs and bodily fluids. Any idiot knows that. There are several trailers for this film that prove my point and even the film's own website promotes it's juvenile nature. I, sir, am not obsessed with bodily functions. Apparantly, moviegoers are as a whole. The trailers themselves use these types of jokes as bait to fill the seats. Don't oppose someone who is merely stating the obvious.
Jan 24 - 09:48 AM
I'm a little worried now because the movie comes out tomorrow and no reviews have been released yet, that's usually evidence of a studio with no confidence in it's production. I'm hoping I'm wrong, but the past has proven this to be true a million times before.
Jan 24 - 06:38 AM
When a trailer tells me to "close my eyes" and "cover my ears", that's good enough for me. I'm also going to keep my wallet closed.
Jan 23 - 07:42 AM
this comment makes no sense as no one has actually had the chance to see this movie. stop your pmsing all over the tension Chase.
Jan 21 - 11:41 PM
What a clever boy you are! I see what you did there. Even though I'm a man, you used a pms joke to justify your disdain for my opinion about the film! My, you're so clever. I've never heard sarcasm such as that in my entire life. Never. You are so fucking clever.
Now for my actual retort? The Farrelly brothers invented this project although they aren't the only ones who worked on the film. Judging by what we know of the Farrelly brothers and from the several different trailers for the movie itself, I can conclude nothing more than my original opinion of the film.
By the way, this movie seems to be right up your alley. There's a menstruation joke in the trailer aiming to induce laughter into cretins like you. How do I know this? You used a menstruation joke in a poor attempt to insult me. You, Micah, fail miserably and you should cease posting before you further expose your little inteligence to the rest of the world.
Thank you for contributing your immaturity to the process of creating films like these. Fuck yourself.
Jan 22 - 06:02 AM
Your opinion may or may not be 100% accurate. Unforunately, ANY educated person, especially people who consider themselves movie fans, will wait until they've actually seen the movie before making blanket judgements about the contents. In fact, the trailers have done their job. Based on the 3 minutes you've seen thus far, I can conclude that you will NOT be seeing this movie. Which is great, because clearly it is not intended for you. Which reinforces the point that you should reserve your opinion. It's sort of like making a "yuck" face across a restaurant at someone eating sushi, if you yourself have never even bothered to try it. You might be right, it might be terrible, but have some respect for people who are looking forward to the meal.
Jan 23 - 07:13 AM
I have no problem with the demographic audience who will see this film, regardless of my abrasive opinion. Your simile concerning the restaurant was quite accurate. I only responding to Micah in a snide manner because of the juvenile insult he decided to use. You are clearly an inteligent person and therefore I will treat you as such.
Jan 23 - 09:35 AM
you obviously have problems when it comes to judging things. I thought the movie was exactly as you mentioned previously, a bunch of retarded sexual innuendo. What's more juvenile than making a retarded thread before the movie comes out in order to JUDGE THE MOVIE and not to mention your post alone makes you look incredibly stupid. Not to mention you must have telekinetic powers because I've never met you in my life yet you categorization this movie as right up my alley because i made a joke playing off your first post.
Jan 26 - 11:18 AM
Let me ask you something. How do I have a problem judging this film before the release date and how am I juvenile for creating this thread if you say that I was dead accurate about the content of the film? How does being right make me look incredibly stupid?
Jan 27 - 08:39 AM
well lets just take this back to the pretense. When you actually were commenting on a film not yet released....
Jan 29 - 08:04 PM
I'm certainly far from politically correct, but I have a hard time condoning yet another sophomoric attempt to tickle the funny bones of moviegoers with incessant genitalia jokes. I hate to sound pious, but the idea of this film is just foolish to me.

John Tyler
The whole movie in a nutshell. Must be hard for it to fit in there.
