Synopsis: Con Ed worker Gus (Matt Dillon) hopes to partner with his co-workers and realize his dream of refurbishing his old neighborhood bowling alley. To relieve himself of the monetary burden and be able to invest in the bowling alley, Gus decides to marry Lee off. First, however, he has the onerous job of finding her "Mr. Right." Gus seeks potential mates for Lee at his job site, at traffic lights and anywhere else he can find them, resulting in a series of hopeless dates for his ex.
