What should I see, this or The Big Wedding?

I was thinking about seeing a movie this weekend. I'm in between this and The Big Wedding and I'm tied like a horse in a stable. What would you recommend?

This was a joke. I'd never watch the big wedding. I just think it's dumb that there are people who will when they could watch something better like this.

Give " Mud" an A. The ensemble cast was absolutely spot on and the photography was brilliant. There will not be ten better films released this year.

Mud was one of the best movies I have seen all year long if not the best and i usually see 5 movies a month. Great acting, great story. Surprised its not on more screens it is very deserving of the 98% it got

Well this DOES have a 98. And Big Wedding DOES have a 6. But I think I'd feel more comfortable watching a comedy. This is out of my movie zone, which includes and is completely limited to comedy, horror, and action.

You can be surprised by anything. I love some movies I never thought I would love.

This was definitely one of those types. I thought honestly it was going to be crap, but it turned out to be one of the best movies of the year so far..

Considering the amount of praise going into Mud, I'd say to watch it. I haven't watched Mud myself, but I've watch the director's previous effort 'Take Shelter' and it was brilliant.

You need to check out Shotgun Stories, his first film, I believe it's on Netflix instant. Very, very good. I've seen all 3 of his films and you can really see him growing as a filmmaker from a young, raw talent to a great storyteller.
