The popular sci-fi television series MUTANT X stars John Shea as scientist Adam Kane, the leader of a group of humans who have acquired amazing and deadly powers after being used as unwitting guinea pigs for a corporation's secret genetic experiment. As part of Adam's Mutant X team, the animalistic Shalimar (Victoria Pratt), shapeshifting Jesse (Forbes March), telepathic Emma (Lauren Lee Smith), and electrically-charged Brennan (Victor Webster) dedicate themselves to using their powers for secret crime-fighting missions while trying to stop the experiment's mastermind--and Adam's former partner--Mason Eckhart (Tom McCamus) from using the project for nefarious ends.
