Makes you laugh out loud, feel dumb for cracking up at the imbecilic jokes, then relieved when you notice everyone next to you is laughing even louder than you.

But when they find that they're about to become fathers, they must face up to a whole new set of responsibilities. Lonnie is the most uptight of the three, who soon realizes that his girlfriend, Rolanda (Paula Jai Parker), is more interested in partying than being a mother. Aspiring record producer Dominic is having a baby with Nia (Joanna Bacalso), but he soon discovers that she has fallen in love with her midwife. And then there's G, a wannabe boxer who is unable to commit 100% to his girlfriend Xi-Xi (Bai Ling). As the pressures of parenthood put an unbearable strain on Lonnie, Dominic, and G, they gradually begin to see what's important in life, and do what it takes to become responsible adults. [More]

Reviews for My Baby's Daddy
There are lots of cheap, easy gags and some uncomfortably incorrect humor, but the film has a good heart.
This stuff wasn't funny when Ted Danson, Tom Selleck and Steve Guttenberg did it 15 years ago, and it isn't funny today with this hip-hop spin.
Cheryl Dunye's comedy follows three bachelor buddies on a journey toward maturity initiated by the simultaneous pregnancy of their girlfriends.
It starts with implausible characters and descends into potty jokes (not just involving babies), racial stereotypes and a criminal lack of originality.
There are some jokes here, and any of these situations could have been funny as skits. Taken together, they're incoherent.
A father wincing at the sight of his baby's green poop is the highlight of this laugh-free comedy.
The movie is overwhelmed by an odd mix of formula, stereotypes, and inconsistency.
With a new focus and a massive rewrite, My Baby’s Daddy was salvageable. As is, it’s merely unwatchable.
It’s offensive, unfunny, badly acted, badly written, badly directed, and remarkably, outstandingly, disturbingly stupid.
A tired send-up of hip-hop-isms that also aspires to be a Waiting to Exhale for men.
That it took Griffin and three (credited) collaborators to come up with a script this by-numbers only proves once again that too many cooks homogenize the soup.
There is no good reason to make a trip to see My Baby's Daddy, but at least it goes down painlessly enough and isn't a complete wash.
There’s no time to be insulted by the endless string of racial jokes considering how infuriatingly literal the film is.
The movie has no idea what to do with its premise, so instead it churns out scene after scene of tired slapstick.
