  • DISHONORED LADY
  • The fashion editor of a major Manhattan magazine, Madeleine Damien (Hedy Lamarr) seems to have it all. But the pressures of her job coupled with a demanding social life and a string of dating disasters have taken their toll. On the verge of a breakdown, Madeleine takes her psychiatrist's advice, leaves the publishing industry behind and moves to Greenwich Village to pursue her dream of becoming an artist. Everything seems to be on the up-and-up when she falls for her neighbor, Dr. David Cousins (Dennis O'Keefe), and they make plans to marry. Then one fateful night when her fiancé is out of town, Madeleine goes out to a nightclub where she bumps into former fling Felix Courtland (John Loder), a jeweler. Before the night is through, Felix winds up dead, and Madeleine stands accused. What will become of the Dishonored Lady now?
  • NANCY DREW, REPORTER
  • Stop the presses! Junior reporter Nancy Drew (Bonita Granville) is on the trail of a major scoop! This time around the lovable sleuth with a nose for mystery is on the case of the unsolved Lambert murder. Though the evidence of guilt points to the deceased's ward (Betty Amann), Nancy has her sights set on a mysterious man with a deformed cauliflower ear. With the aid of her pal Ted Nickerson (Frank Thomas Jr.), Nancy investigates, and they wind up trapped in an old hotel. But Nancy never fails to get her man, and the real killer's identity is soon revealed.
  • THE BLACK RAVEN
  • The Black Raven, a dreary old inn run by the ominous Amos Bradford (George Zucco), becomes the sinister setting of greed and murder one dark, stormy night. Several strangers with secrets to hide, including an eloped couple (Wanda McKay, Bob Randall), an escaped convict with a score to settle (I. Stanford Jolley), a bank teller who's embezzled $50,000 (Byron Foulger), a seasoned crook (Noel Madison), and an influential politician (Robert Middlemass), check in that volatile evening—but not all of them will check out. There'll be no rest at the Black Raven tonight as secrets are revealed and bodies begin turning up in this taut and suspenseful classic chiller.
  • CITY OF MISSING GIRLS
  • King Peterson (Philip Van Zandt), the front man of the Crescent School for Fine Arts, comes under investigation when the bodies of several supposed "schoolgirls" turn up around the city. Peterson, a man whose talent for crime exceeds all else, stops at nothing to elude arrest—using bribery, threats, murder and blackmail to his advantage. Meanwhile, Nora Page (Astrid Allwyn), a reporter investigating the young women's untimely deaths, uncovers the truth about the "drama school," which is in fact a front for a prostitution ring. Putting her own life on the line, Nora goes undercover as an aspiring actress to get the goods on Peterson and prove his guilt once and for all.
