Chek law dak gung (Naked Weapon) (2002)
Hong Kong action specialist Wong Jing wrote the screenplay for the slam-bang Chiklo Dakgung (Naked Weapon). Madame M (Almen Wong) orchestrates the abduction of 40 different 13-year-old girls from around the world. She trains them as assassins, and in a few years, unleashes them on the world to do her bidding. The most potent of the group turn out to be gymnast Charlene Ching (Maggie Q), kickboxer Katt (Anya), and Jing (Jewel Lee). CIA agent Jack Chan (Daniel Wu) has stayed on the trail of the girls since their disappearance. When he finally catches up to Charlene, Jack is nearly done in by her alluring but deadly qualities. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi … More

What a godawfully hilarious film. Naked Weapon is a film where not one single person has been cast because of their acting abilities. The delivery of the stale dialogue is painful at times. Once you get past all the hot girls kicking arse, there's nothing else. Its ultimate sin is to take itself too seriously. The editing is a huge pile of gobshite. People dive through the air and just don't stop. Sometimes it seems like a spoof. One scene has two women diving over a sofa in slow motion, without it feeling like part of the fight. By the end the film just gives up, introducing a new antagonist, despite the obvious build up of the Madame M character. The final fight makes no sense, like a lot of the dialogue, as people balance on the heads of their opponents and spin round and around. Delightfully cheesy, and painfully bad in equal measure.More
This is another one of those movies where the male fan base will be attracted to this from the title and the cover. Lets get this out of the way first. There is no lesbian scenes in this and not a whole lot of nudity. Still, this movie should satisfy the male testosterone factor. The story is pretty much rubbish. Most of the movie I was sitting there wondering what this movie would have in the finale, besides some sort of big fight scene. This is definitely a movie you won't want to see if you want a good story. Nonetheless, mostly everybody that watches this will not be interested in the story anyway. The acting is also pretty lame. The only ones that really stand out are Maggie Q and Daniel Wu, which do a slightly better than average job. Another thing that I found weird in this movie was that it was made by the Chinese for the Chinese and yet everybody speaks English. Everybody! This was also done with another movie I've seen called Silverhawk, which stars Michelle Yeoh. At least the English was done pretty well without all that much interference of Chinese accents. As mentioned earlier the title includes the word "naked" in it, but there isn't whole lot of nudity in this film. Males, do not be disappointed though. The first 45 minutes of the movie is all girls in skimpy clothes kicking each others butts. Later on in the movie you also get a few more erotic scenes. This movie is loaded with action and its all the girls doing the ass kicking. The gun battles are pretty lame and boring. Just guys pointing there guns and unloading all over the place. The hand-to-hand combat is where the action isn't too bad. The choreography at points is pretty nice and the stunt doubles are pretty wicked. Maggie Q really shows some potential that she could be a future action queen and maybe even a stripper. There is also a little CG here and there, but they are pretty cheap looking and nothing really spectacular. This movie will only cater to a few people, mostly males in my opinion. Yet, although this movie has mediocre written all over it, this should still be fairly high on the must see list for Maggie Q fans. It will only take a brief 90 minutes of your time. Yummy!More
