Critic Review - Christianity Today

If you can see the film through the eyes of a child -- one who thinks a cheesy thriller is the ideal way to pick up new facts about history -- then this isn't that bad a yarn.

This guy can't complain about this movie being cheesy when he finds some inexcusable way to find Atonement to be a good movie. Apparently if a movie isn't spelled out for critics right from the start, they don't think its good. God forbid anybody have a good time at the movies. Movies don't always have to be serious to be good.
