Good, maybe he'll actually vanish.

Nic Cage is becomming a beacon to alert us all of bad movies. Hopefully Aronofsky can ruin Cage's streak of bad movies.

National Treasure is on my list of dumbest movies ever released to theatre in recent years next to The Day After Tomorrow, Independence Day, and Battlefield Earth.

National Treasure was surely dumb but it was a box office hit. I enjoyed Day After Tomorrow and Independence Day but I do agree that both were pretty dumb. Battlefield Earth was a torture to watch. But the dumbest movie ever released to theater in recent years has to be Borat.

The dumbest movies I've ever seen in theaters was One Hour Photo, and The Village. Both are extremely unbearable to watch! They are what I considered to be torture films.

that's the dumbest opinion ever, so there's that.

One Hour Photo was good. I agree about the Village. Cage used to make great movies. It seems he's now too focused on a paycheck rather than quality. The good news is this is a Focus Features film...which I have yet to see a bad Focus Feature film. Looks like he's attempting to get *some* sort of credibility back to his name with films like this, Weatherman and Lord of War (both of which I thought were quite good.)

Your right blinkybrown, I somehow forgot about Weatherman and Lord of War. I liked both of those. Neither was great (hence I forgot them), but they were enjoyable.

The best Cage movie was Raising Arizona. Atleast to me it was.
