I have to disagree. Not every film needs to be new, innovative, and groundbreaking- at least, not substantially so. While the movie is full of cliches, and it's been done before, Never Been Kissed more heart-felt than most films of its genre. I thought it was funny, cute, and entertaining. The kind of movie you rent rather than see in the theaters, just because it's fun.
