Forever Strong -- 31%

If soccer is still the second-class citizen among popular American sports, then rugby's got to be even farther behind; how many people know what a scrum is, let alone can follow the confusing rules of a game that plays like a soccer-football hybrid with no pauses and no pads? The makers of Forever Strong must have been betting that the strength of their film would not depend on the popularity of the sport (which, incidentally, yours truly played in college) but the critics say the tale of a juvenile delinquent (Sean Faris), who joins a rugby team only to face off against his own coach father in the championships, falls victim to the same sports movie clichés that we've seen a hundred times. Neal McDonough, Arielle Kebbel, Gary Cole, and Gossip Girl's Penn Badgley co-star, while Rudy himself, Sean Astin, shows up as a guidance counselor.

Finally Killshot has come out, I've heard it's not good, but I've been so curious for such a long time about it. Top of que right now. Nothing else for me. Got Benjamin Button last week, what an amazing blu-ray. The features are so good and the transfer is perfect, it's worth picking up even if you don't love the movie. Also saw Fanboys which was Ok, it's not good but it's not boring. Oh, and I also got A Bugs Life on Blu-Ray and that movie is still awesome and it also still looks great especially in HD.

I still need to pick up Benjamin Button, the only thing i see worth while in here is Children of Men on Blu-ray, although i might rent Killshot.

Finally Killshot, might also checkout Forever Strong for the hell of it. Powder Blue is actually pretty good, way better than its been getting treated, good acting-Liotta in particular.

Really? I think CARS is without a doubt Pixar's weak link. To me A Bugs Life is a really fun movie that has some great messages like most of there movies. I still found myself laughing at the jokes and having fun with the action, not Pixar's best, but I still really like.

Good news. One of the worst movies of the year is out. Yes, "New in Town". Uuugh.

But...something even worse...lurks among us...

DON'T BUY "MEGA SHARK VS GIANT OCTOPUS"! It's not so bad it's good, it's just horrible. These are the same people who have given us "The Transmorphers", "Snakes on a Train", and "Sunday School Musical". I rented all those films, and...oh my God. So...horrible. They're over the top in violence and sex, with cheap visuals, but you can get that in a GOOD Grindhouse flick or porno. Don't bother folks, trust me.

Want something so bad it's good? Pick up "Land of the Lost". I always watch that for a good laugh. I'm no so sure how a film could work, since the shows appeal is the low production.

lol, I have Transmorphors on my instant que on netflix, havent got round to watching it. For me, one of the best worst movies ever made is Dragon Wars, I'm not sure if any of these can top it. I have to side with JOker, one of my favorite pixar movies is definitly Bug's Life (probably right after Wall-e), I thought Ratatouille was the weakest of Pixars films so far (though that was still good).

unbreakable_samurai: Ok, let's talk Powder Blue. [SPOILERS AHEAD]

I agree with you that the performances are mostly solid. Liotta is fine, Biel is Acting her *** off, Whitaker is heartbreaking as usual. The problem is the writing; seriously, these characters couldn't be more contrived. See:

- a coke-snorting, depressed stripper and single mom whose young son is in a coma
- a terminally-ill, tattoed ex-con who thinks the stripper might be his daughter; awkward/wrong lap dance ensues
- a suicidal ex-priest guilty over the death of his wife (who died on their wedding day) looking for someone to kill him for $50K so he doesn't have to do it himself
- a laughable strip club owner who is gross and mean, and has a conversation while getting a blowjob
- a painfully shy mortician who inherited his father's mortuary but can't pay the bills because he's too nice to ask people for money because, oh yeah, it's CHRISTMAS EVE (wink wink)

...all of whom come CRASHing together on the seedy streets of Los Angeles.

Also, Biel's nude scene -- which you have to wait through at least two agonizingly "artistic" strip dances for -- is a sort of switcheroo; you see boobs, then you see her punish herself with hot candle wax because she feels SO GUILTY, and then she cries on stage. One critic called it exploitation on the part of the director, and I sort of agree.

Yep, Jessica Biel said what might be the dumbest comment of the year. She said beautiful women don't get roles. She claimed Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson get the great roles because apparently Biel thinks she's hotter than them. WRONG! On, well, everything! Hot actress's get serious roles, Kate Winslet, END OF STORY!...no I'm not done! Angelina Jolie has had plenty of serious roles, AND Halle Berry, AND Julia Roberts, AND Keira Knightley! And not only are all of those talents better acting, they're better looking! Ugly women get the shaft! How many movies have I seen recently with fat women, unless it's supposed to make them unappealing?!?!? Or average women?!!? The last movie where the dame was average, was "Rocky"!!!!! So Jessica Biel, it's just because you're a talentless hack, you stupid, stupid, stupid HOT woman!

My God people!! When talking Pixar, everyone fails to state the obvious... Cars is the worst film they've ever made!!! Granted it's not really THAT bad, it's predictable, by-the-book storytelling just wreaks of laziness!

Kate Winslet and Keira Knightley are not hot. Same thing with natalie Portman and Julia Roberts, they are so average looking. Hell most of the ASU student body is hotter than those four actresses.
