Audience Reviews for New Mr. Vampire

A follow-up to Mr Vampire, though not a true legitimate follow-up. It did have some of the players from the original one, but this was more of a spin-off than a sequel. (Mr Vampire 2 came out the next year and then New Mr Vampire 2 came out in 1989). No hopping vampires for some reason, though most of the other supernatural rules which were set up in the original were used here. Best part of the story was the female vampire who mimicked everything a certain undertaker did, but they kinda left that story hanging in the last 20 minutes of the film. At that point it pretty much degenerated into non-sense which wasn't as clever or silly as the rest of the film.
