When the exhibits at New York's Natural History Museum start behaving strangely, Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) -- now the director of nighttime operations -- must find out the cause. He learns that the Tablet, which magically brings Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams), Jedediah (Owen Wilson) and the other exhibits to life at night, has started to decay. Larry, along with his son and museum friends, must travel to London's British Museum to learn how to prevent the Tablet's magic from disappearing.

It feels old hat and despite the nostalgic rush of seeing the late Mickey Rooney and Robin Williams on the big screen, it's less exciting to see Sir Ben Kingsley as Ahkmenrah's father delivering bad double entendres like, "I am a pharaoh. Kiss my staff."

Night at the Museum (2006) This is such a fun and entertaining movie. Ben Stiller stars as Larry, a newly hired night guard at the American Museum of Natural History who discovers that the exhibits come to life after dark. Watching him navigate the chaos, learning to handle the magical antics, and forming friendships with the exhibits is hilarious and heartwarming. One of my favorite things about this movie is the cast of characters. I love the mischievous older guards who pick on Larry, the Pharaoh’s commanding presence, and of course, the amazing performance by Robin Williams. These characters make the museum feel alive and add so much charm and humor to the film. I also love how the movie balances comedy, adventure, and a touch of history, making it enjoyable for both kids and adults. For me, it’s a highly enjoyable and memorable movie that’s perfect for a lighthearted, fun movie night.
