I couldn't agree with you more Fernando F. Croce!!
Hard to believe that such a simple film like this can garner so many thumbs up. It wasn't terrible and it was no great shakes either.
Try watching "Bad Day at Black Rock".
Coen Brothers are over rated too. Who in their right minds would even attempt a remake of "True Grit"? Totally assinine and it shows.

its a good movie, but i'd agree its overrated, the thing i didnt like was the compressed air he used to blow out locks, i thought that was a cheesy part of the movie. i liked the rest of it, with the exception of the ending, i was a little confused when it ended. but now i understand it, i just think the ending could have been much better done, and more satisfying.

I wouldn't say overrated. I believe it deserves the praise largely due to some of the best writing and directing the Coen brothers have ever done. It's up there with Fargo.
