In the scene where they go and visit the crime scene at Lester Townsend's house, Thornhill's mother say's something I have never understood.

00:22:58 Scotch, gin, vodka....

00:23:02 And bourbon.

00:23:05 ??? I remember when it used to come in bottles. ???

What is she talking about when she says she remembers when it came in bottles? I have owned this movie on LD, DVD, and now beautiful bluray and just have never gotten that line. Just throwing it out there if anyone can help.

she says that because when she opens the cabinet it doesn't have alcohol in it it has books. she's basically saying that she believed that her son was drunk the night before and doesn't believe his story she just says in in a joking manner
