I loved this movie. I was entertained throughout. As far as not being able to guess the ending, that was a good thing. Definitely not a flick you can talk through and still enjoy, your attention needs to stay focused.

Good cast, ok acting, not a great plot, but enjoyable. At times it gets pretty bad, but other times i't s a passable movie. The "magic" equals knowledge philosophy behind the movie is interesting.

It was a bad movie. At the end all I could do was shake my head. So many problems with the story I can't even list all of the problems in one post. The biggest problem is the end and how you had ZERO chance of guessing it because there was ZERO plot points that pointed to it. It's as if they were shooting and writing it at the same time and realized, shit we need to end this some how - well just say it was that person and wrap it up. And the fact that the mystical part of it just comes and goes and really goes nowhere is just dumb. Acting was good and it did look good, the story is so bad though that unless you were drunk or high when you saw it you can not say you really enjoyed it.

Just saw it. It was a pretty hot mess of a movie. If you stare at it with dead eyes, and don't think about it much, the actors give a really well done performance. The plot, illusions, twists and so on leave a lot to be desired though. A pretty severe lack of explanation at points, and at others there is too much exposition to the point of hilarity. In a movie where your main characters NEVER fail at ANY tasks in the movie, you have some pretty weak story telling. In addition, some of the information provided was unnecessary for the characters, but it served to trick the audience. Pretty lame.

So disappointed to see people dissing movie they haven't seen. Seems silly to me. I saw it tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was exactly what I expected and I had fun. Isn't that what it's all about? I enjoyed the cast and don't really care who the director is.

If you liked the trailer, why would you care about the director? Are you looking for a reason to hate it even before it comes out in the theater? Seriously, wtf is wrong with libtard trolls like you? STFU and go back to your room. All star cast, trailer looks good, reminds me of The Illusionist with action, I for one am intrigued and will give this movie a chance. So, Jeffrey is the only person here that can truly comment on the movie since he's the only one who has seen it. I've got passes for a screening tonight. I'm on the fence, but I'll probably go. Will follow up with a review later if I see it. Note: I think that Isla Fisher and Jesse Eisenberg are both overrated, but I do like Woody Harrelson, who is an underrated actor. Michael Caine, of course, is amazing.

Even though the director's track record isn't the greatest, it could be a lot worse. I mean, THe Incredible Hulk wasn't bad, and Clash of the Titans had some good effects at least. Also, I doubt the movie would have gotten such a strong cast if the script was terrible. Anyways, I think the new trailer was awesome, so I'm definetly intending on seeing this.

The Incredible Panda Hulk

I was super hyped to see this seeing a cast that looked like a super great ensemble cast, and then I saw this, and looked at the director thinking, "Oh he can't be that bad!"

Now instead of being confident this will be great, I am only hoping it will be because this is an awesome cast.
