Charles Dickens's classic tale of orphan struggle is brought to the screen once more--this time by PBS in a six-hour miniseries originally broadcast in October of 2000. When his mother (Sophia Myles) is unable to support him, the eponymous young Twist (Sam Smith) becomes doomed to wither away his youth in the horrid bowels of Parish Workhouse.
