When a young samurai comes to Seimei to discuss a possible plot against the government, the two discover that the court's formidable magician, Doson, is indeed planning a coup. Teaming their skills to take on the powerful Doson, Seimei and Hiromasa face a long and difficult battle. ONMYOJI II begins during the Daimyo's brutal slaughter of a religious Shinto village. Hidden away in a cave, a priest invokes a mighty ancient god to preserve the village's lineage and sacred beliefs. Many years later, the Dragon God returns seeking vengeance by dispatching villains in the form of vampires. These demons prey on nobility and snatch up their body parts, but it is up to Seimei, the Onmyoji, to determine what these demons represent. [More]
