(although it says here it was released in 2003, this was actually made in the 70's). Made when the world still had some innocence, this is a truly cute story of a little girl and her panda.

Cute and amusing!!! Miyazaki and Takahata quit Toei Animation Co., Ltd in 1971 in order to make a "Pippi Longstockings" TV series. They put a lot of effort into the project but the author of the book on which the series was based, Astrid Lindgren, did not give permission so it was never realized. Instead, in 1972 they
