Bardego, do you honestly think anyone would take you seriously? I'm sure that if they saw that, they would just laugh at you.

People like you are an embarrassment Bardego.

Actually, no. It's not a true story. It's extremely loosely based on a true story. Patch had a license, his friend who was murdered was a man and was killed before the hospital opened, his wife was not named carol, the establishment wasn't as heartless as depicted in this black and white manner, more just disapproving someone to try and throw modern health out the window, he was more than just an obnoxious clown in a hospital but an extreme caregiver to those who needed it and that this movie simplifies the ideals and methods of the real Hunter Adams to a mere clown and it is embarrassing and sickening for true supporters of Hunter Adams.

No way. I agree that this is VERY loosely based on the real "Patch". But I got to hear and meet the real Patch when he came to Fairbanks a couple of years back. That guy is a whacko. I mean a real crazy. I wondered how, after nearly three decades and a successful movie that drew attention... he STILL didn't have the funding to get his dreams off the ground... Boy did I find out why. The fact that he is a raving socialist and sympathizes with communism, but the guy is SOOOOOO anti-establishment it makes you wonder how he ever made it through medical school to begin with. If I was knocking on death's door... I'd rather have Robin Williams work on me than that guy. Some things are worse than death.
