The CGI alien is very well articulated, and Rogen is a virtuoso at mixing motormouthed rudeness with a hint of tenderness to take off the edge.

I honest to God don't understand this site's God Awful logic when it comes to what critics rate "good" and "bad"..Paul is a steaming pile of unoriginal and unfunny mess..calling it lifeless would be an understatement YET it has a 70% while Sucker Punch is a groundbreaking film pushing new ideas in a very creative way that has never been seen before in film currently has a 23% on here..not only doesn't that make sense its completely insulting and tells you what is wrong with critics and film today..I hope this site burns itself to the ground..because its even more lifeless then this film!

It's not about deciding what's good and bad. It's more about stating an opinion. A lot more people like Paul than Sucker Punch. Paul is simple, yet effective. Sucker Punch is completely convoluted and boring, and completely ineffective.

Ditto Thomas. Paul was amusing, Sucker Punch ( I really tried to like it) was trying too hard.

Uhhh you do know Critics don't review on here, they just write their reviews for the paper, and Rotten Tomatoes just reposts them here.

Paul was a great movie, sure it was overdoing it with the sex jokes, but it was still amazing for a Comedy.
