Paul McCartney's Get Back (1989)
Once upon a time, there was a famous popular music group known as the Beatles. That was years before most of the people living today were born, but when they came on the scene their music had the force of a revelation, and it was influential on the culture of the time, affecting everything from politics to classical music composition. Wisely, the members of that group split up before their popularity had waned. Before that, however, the director of this documentary, Richard Lester, directed two very successful zany and surrealistic comedies featuring the group's members, including A Hard Day's Night and Help!.
