Solid writing and strong performances by leads Chris Pine and Elizabeth Banks propel People Like Us from a maudlin drama to a memorable one.
If conflict makes a good tale, then this movie has it at many levels. On faces, in hearts, and by situation. To say that this script is "been there, done that" is someone who must like talking bears as original. Great script, lovely characters, and a pace that builds to a rewarding finish. Thanks Tyler for appreciating this.
