Well, I actually did see the film. There was an advanced screening in Camarillo on May 19th. I thought it was pretty damn fun. It's as good as the first as a film in general but much better than the first as an adaptation.

The second series was very boring and had uninteresting characters and plots. I understand what Rick Riordan was trying to do but he didn't really do it well, which is disappointing.
