Greenaway Paints Rembrandt Biopic
Peter Greenaway ("The Pillow Book") will direct "Nightwatching," a biopic about the life of Dutch painter Rembrandt van Rijn, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The movie will focus on the creation of Rembrandt's most famous painting, "The Nightwatch," and its effect on his personal life. The movie is shooting for a 2006 release to coincide with the 400th anniversary of Rembrandt's birth.
