Pinto Rustlers was one of 19 westerns ground out by Tom Tyler for bargain-basement Reliable Pictures between 1934 and 1936. When his father is killed by a gang of rustlers, Tom Dawson (Tyler) swears revenge. Deputized for this purpose, he goes undercover to infiltrate the gang, posing as a notorious bandit whom he closely resembles. By the time he catches up with the crooks, Tom is also obliged to rescue heroine Ann Walton (Catherine Cotter) from their clutches.
