Though his picks are now regarded as classics, many weren't well-reviewed or even financially successful upon their first releases. ?Psychologically, maybe it reflects my career,? Dante laughs. ?No, I?m a firm believer that movies are not best appreciated at the time they?re released. To Be Or Not To Be is the funniest movie ever made, together with Bringing Up Baby and Duck Soup. Once Upon... and The Bride Of... are both brilliant and of course belongs in every true moviefan's toplist. I would though replace The Night... with the original The Vanishing and Touch Of Evil with The Third Man.
